Nathan Allen, son of Moses and Mehitable was born at Princeton, 25 Apr 1813. He graduated from Amherst in 1836, received his MD degree from the Pennsylvania Medical College in 1841, plus other graduated detrees. He settle at Lowell MA in 1841. His medical writings have attracted special attention in Europe. Nathan married 15 Sep 1841 to Sarah H. Spaulding who died April 1856 without issue. He married second in 1858 to Annie W. Waters and they had four children.
