It has been suggested that Unity married William Haden in King William Co prior to the Haden family's appearance in Goochland Co. However, some give her birth as about 1741 which would make the connection unlikely. I do believe the 1741 is a contrived estimate so she could have older. Her mother Martha was born about 1720 and could have married young - say 17 - in which case Unity could have been born as early as 1738. In 1755, Anthony Haden gave to his son William a gift of land - this was probably when William came of age or married as Anthony did the same with his other sons. IF Unity was born say 1738, then she would have been age 17 in 1755 and of marriageable age. William Haden's wife is proved as Unity, but the only surname suggested in some databases is Wyatt with no proof offered. The names Wyatt and Aylett could easily be misinterpreted.
