The cemetery records in Auburn Cemetery indicate that Lynn David married Mattie Attebery, born 1888 and died 1961. Two markers in the cemetery indicate children - Dr. L. D. McCarley, Jr. 1914-1916 (he was still living in 1940) and Lucy A. McCarley, 1912 - .
