Charles Waddill, a son of Charles, died in 1720. Apparently the Parish records of births of children to Charles & Mary Waddill would have to be this Charles. However, there was another Charles Waddill - son of Joseph & Judith baptized in 1737. It is quite possible that he also married a Mary and the child William Dennis, born some years after Benjamin & Martha is that Charles' son.

Also in the Parish records of St. Peters:
Silas [Negro] belonging to Charles Waddill was born 26 Jul 1758.

Chesterfield Co VA Deed Book 1, contains the following puzzling record:
16 Feb 1749 John Elam of Dale Parish, Chesterfield Co sold to William Watkins for 45#'s, land next to John Elam Jr, Lodowick Elam, Thomas Harding, James Cashoon & William Robinson
Wit: Richard Day, William Hill, Chas. Waddill, Joseph Watkins.

A Charles Waddel, patented land in Lunenburg County on 15 Jul 1760. 400 acres on head branches of Hounds and Flatrock Creek, adj lines of Abraham Cocke. Cabell in his book on the Majors family determined this particular Charles was the recipient of this patent.
