Daniel was married first to Sally or Martha Jarman, 14 Jan 1781 - there were two daughters, Patsy [prob Martha] Dabney Maupin and Miriam Maupin.
He married Patsy Gentry second. They had possibly as many as seven children:
James Dabney Maupin, b. 23 Jan 180; Nimrod b. 3 Jan 1811; Lilburn G., b. abt 1812;
Frances, Mary, Elizabeth, and Joel.
Daniel married a third time to Hannah Jameson. They had Merritt R. b. 22 Oct 1813, John W., b. 20 Jun 1817, and Sarah, b. ca 1822.
