In 1920, Carrie Evatt - the above Caroline, born abour 1842, was living in Benton Co AR, Hice Township. She gave her age as 75, widowed, b. MS, parents b. TN. Mary stated in her deposition in 1921 that only her sister Caroline Evatt, widow of Jim Lewis Evatt, was living - her parents long since dead. Caroline gave testimony for her sister Mary's Widow's Pension in 1883 and she was at that time Caroline Minyard.

Adolphus G. Leming of Scott Co AR gave testimony 20 Oct 1921 when Mary Keeton Allen Robinson was attempting to reinstate her pension. He noted that he had known both her husbands. He also knew her uncle, Hezekiah Keeton, who was the chaplain in his Regiment, the 2nd Arkansas Infantry. He was a lawyer and had been giving Mary advice but had not accepted a fee.
