John Fry

John married Sarah Ann Clowser. She was born about 1754, daughter of Henry Clowser (1721-1764) and Anna Maria. Mrs. Clowser and three of her daughters including Sarah Ann, age about 10 at the time, were taken prisoner by the Indians - a young daughter, age 2, was killed as she impeded traveling. They were held for about six months before being released.
