The court case in Fauquier Co VA after her grandmother, Sarah Hitt, died, lists Nancy as married to John Button and Fanny as married to James W. Keller. Online databases give different information.
The 1850 census does have Nancy, the correct age, living with Abraham Kellar in Moultrie Co Illinois.
On the Hitt GenForum message board is the information that in Book 33, p.27 [probably Oldham Co Deeds] is a power of attorney from the children of the late Joel Hitt, named as Jack Button & wife Fanny [formerly Hitt], Abraham G. Keller & his wife Nancy [formerly Hitt], James Hitt and Joel Hitt, all living in Oldham Co KY, 23 Jul 1832, demanding their rights to the estate of the late Peter Hitt of Fauquier Co KY.
