I never found anyone who seemed to be Caroline in 1860. I did find daughter Elizabeth, widowed, with four children - her youngest daughter named Carry.

Both ages off by about 5 years, but often renters didn't answer the questions.
They were living with an Irish immigrant, Kate Collins, and her two daughters.  Kate and another adult lady were both seamstresses.

Next door was a Bettie Hardin, age 50, widow ...was she the widow of one of the older sons of Caroline's William Hardin???? Bettie's sons were Horace, Preston, Gustave, Orville & Ferguson.

FindAGrave #64352734 states she is buried Cave Hill Cemetery, Louisville, Jefferson Co, KY (no photo). died about 1888.
