Mr. & Mrs. Bert Redmon of this city announce the marriage of their only daughter, Faustina, to Jack Cheek, son of Dr. & Mrs. J. A. Cheek, also of Sallisaw.
The marriage was quietly solemnized last Saturday evening at Muldrow by Rev. L. C. Craig, pastor of the Methodist church of that city.
Mrs. Cheek graduated from the Sallisaw high school with the class of 1931 and is a popular member of the younger set. She is now employed as postal clerk at the local postoffice.

The wreck happened on "Route 66" near Stroud, OK; they were in a '31 Chevvie coupe. JoEllen does confirm that Faustine had this earlier marriage - apparently divorced.
An obituary of her father in January of 1936 refers to her as Mrs. Faustine Cheek.
