Carroll Co WB 2, p.491 1 Nov 1862 Will of Uriah Spence. Wife Susannah Spence to have all of my estate both real and personal and after death, her granddaughter Lavinia Frances Marshall is to have the same. All of my Connections is to have none of my estate, as far as Susan Spence, widow of John H. Spence, nothing of my estate as her husband had his share heretofore. I wish no sale or appraisment.
Christopher Turman to be executor. He is to take possession of the estate after the death of my wife and hold the same till her grand child Lavinia F. Marshall comes of age. Impower him to make the property pay the expenses. Signed Uniah (x) Spence
