Lou Ann's father said to be William Sewell whose family was among the pioneer settlers of Logan Co AR.

I wasn't sure that Goodspeed gave the correct father for Lou Ann. There was a William Sewell present in the area, but the names and ages of his children didn't seem to match Lou Ann and her sister Mary A. very well. An online database does say that Eliza Ann, b. ca 1844 was nicknamed "Louann" Also shows her married to Mathew and says that she died 1919 - Mathew died 1912 [which isn't correct as he was dead before 1910]. The database also says the child Elizabeth Sewell, born in 1854 was Mary Elizabeth who married John Maynard.
So this must be Lou Ann's family in 1850, Franklin Co AR, before Logan Co was formed from it, Hh 374

In 1870, it would appear that William, his wife and father may have all died. Lower Township, Hh 106 is Orinton Sewell, now 28, wife wife and two children. Then in Hh 107:
James Sewell, 24. Josephine 20. Clarissa 18. Lorenzo 16. Harriett 10.

Some of the family is said to buried Paint Rock Cemetery, Logan Co. I found none posted on FindAGrave.com
However, Carpenter Cemetery, Ozark, Franklin Co, AR:
William Jasper Sewell, son of William Sewell and Beth Ann Baker. Born 3 Oct 1836; Died 30 Jan 1901. Married Malissie Colvard, 22 Mar 1855. Malissie, b. 22 Mar 1837, d. 27 Jan 1901.
Arrington M. Sewell. Born Apr 1842, died Jan 1883. Married Lydia Colvard. Theirs is a joint stone. Lydia was the daughter of Wade Colvard and Latha Ann Cage. She was born Jun 1845, died Nov 1922.
