William was the son of John Adkins Johnson and Mary R. Lee. William married (2) to Patience Lavena Haggard, who was b. 15 Feb 1862, d. 22 Aug 1907. Patience shares a stone with Annie E. Johnson, b. 13 Sep 1901, d. 6 Oct 1904 - surely her little daughter - and they are also buried Johnson Cemetery.
