John Gilmer Montgomery

In the 1900 Census, when Cora Pippin was 12 years old, living next door was the widow Mary Montgomery and her children Lucinda, Thomas, Nathan, and GILMER, born Dec 1881. Obviously Gilmer married the "girl next door".
In 1910, John G., Corry, and their young daughter, lived only a few houses from her parents and grandparents. The daughter was age 1 1/2 and I think her name was Ethel, although the "t" seems to have been left out. They had been married 5 years.
John Gilmer's older borther, Samuel Marion Montgomery, was the g grandfather of the husband of Erika York, who shared the information on this family.
