Eliza J. and Robert F. were both aged 4 in the 1860 Census, presumably twins. Descendants of this family line give his name as Robert John Harmon, Jr.
Robert, age 28 [as was his sister Eliza Roe], on p. 318B of the Victor, Osborne Co, KA 1880 census. He was a farmer and lived alone. James Harmon, age 24 & also single, was listed next to Robert and Charles Roe & their sister Eliza, his wife, were listed in the next place.
When Robert J. Harmon filled out the information on his living children for his Civil War pension application, date 4 May 1898, Robert Jr. was not listed. He had apparently died.
