John D. Bunch, age 39, b. TN; Louisa [Louisa Tucker is said to have been his 1st wife], age 37. Children are Brot ??? , a female age 9, Robert age 7, Sarah age 5, Letsy age 4 and Mary Ann age 3. [This census would indicate a birth year of 1811.]

John Bunch probably had other children by his first wife. Letsa, Mary & Louisa were found living with John and his second wife Elizabeth Dabbs Warren in the 1870 Census in McDonald Co MO. In 1870, John & Elizabeth had two children, John and Margaret. John was 2, Margaret 4 months old at the time of the census. Also Nancy & Martha Warren daughters of Elizabeth and William Warren were living with John and Elizabeth Bunch. The 1876 census show Elizabeth is again likely a widow. Living with her were her two Warren children, John & Margaret Bunch as above, and a 4 year old daughter Georgie Allis Bunch.

By 1880, Nancy Warren was married to William "Wash" Anderson - she would have been 21 years old. Her sister Martha and the three children of John & Elizabeth Bunch were found in the household of a Nancy Anderson, age 41. I have no explanation unless this was a error on the part of the census enumerator.
