Ceremony Will Be Performed on Evening of February 9 at Home of Bride-to-be in Chico.
A wedding that will be of unusual interest to a large number of the people of Oroville and the surrounding country will be celebrated on February 9th next, when Miss Gertrude Allen will become the bride of Mr. Bruce Fry, of this city. The wedding will be celebrated at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. B. F. Allen of Chico, and will be witnessed only by the more intimate friends of the contracting couple.
The bride-to-be is well known throughout the county, having been connected with the schools as a teach.
After the ceremony, the young couple will leave on an extended honeymoon. They will make their home in this city.

Gertrude's age was given as 18 in the marriage record in 1907, but the CA Death Records gave her birth date as 6 Apr 1875 and age 69 at her death, making her older than Edwin when they married.

Gertrude and Edwin both buried Chico Cemetery. This date of death may be date of interment.
