WEDDING OF J. OSCAR FRY AND MISS ALBERTA HAM
The marriage of Miss Alberta Ham, daughter of Mrs. May Ham, and Mr. J. Oscar Fry, took place yesterday at the home of the groom's father, Mr. R. B. Fry, in Forbestown. Rev. Mr. Robertson performed the ceremony, and after the nuptial knot had bee tied and congratfulations were over, all present sat down to a wedding dinner. The newly married couple drove down from Forbestown last night, and took the train for San Francisco this Monday morning where they will remain for eight or ten days.
Mr. Fry is well known here, where he has been employed on one of the dredgers for some time past, and is an active, energetic and industrious young man, of most exemplary habits.
The bride has lived in Oroville most of the time for the past five or six years, and is the daughter of the late Moses Ham, and wife, Mrs. Mary Ham. The family formerly resided in Forbestown for some years. Mrs. Fry is a most worthy young lady of very pleasing manner.
The Register extends its best wished and congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Fry for long life and unbounded prosperity.

In 1920, the Frys were living with Alberta's mother, Mary Ham, age 57 and a widow. Mary was born in California but lists both parents as born in England. Lester, Mary's son and Alberta's brother was age 24, born in California, his father born in Maine. Lester was working as an office hand in a hardware store.
