Lulu Bertha Jones

(22 Feb 1878 - 4 Oct 1962)

I believe Lula's married name was Pauley. She wrote a letter to Marlene Jones, probably in 1971, part of which Marlene copied and sent on to Paul Barker.

She was married first to an Arnold, perhaps Robert Arnold - no marriage record found. 11 Aug 1919, she married Ewing Francis Almon, widower of her sister Martha, in Benton Co, AR. She was age 41, living in Kingfisher, OK; Ewing was living in Partsons, Kansas, age 51. She is with Ewing Almon in Neosho Co, Kansas, 1920 & 1930. Almon died in 1931, Neosho Co, Kansas and she married Frank Pauley, 23 Dec 1935, Benton Co, AR

NOTE: The following relationship is absolutely in error. Lulu's parents had died in 1905 and 1913, respectively - she was a JONES and her mother married to no one else. Perhaps he was a stepfather to Frank Pauley?
