Barrett Parrish is on recommendation list, 1813, to the President asking that Elijah Sparks be appointed to fill the vacancy on the General Court that existed because of the death of Judge Vanderburgh

Barrat Parrish is noted as being in the Militia, Franklin Co, IN, 1812.

I have autosomal DNA matches to descendants of this couple through daughters Mary, Ruth, & Nancy, but have found no actual proof of these children. Mary is shown married to very different husbands in online trees. On FamilySearch and WikiTree she is married to Milton Johnson, 2 Aug 1829, In 1850 she is with him Marion Co, IN, age 42, or b. about 1808. She died in Hickory Co, MO in 1875. Ancesstry trees have Mary Parish married to Aaron Anderson Dawson, 7 Aug 1836. The marriage record is digitized but no parents are listed for either. The 1850 census, with Aaron Dawson shows her age as 36, or b. about 1814.. She died in Indianapolis in 1876 as noted in the Logansport Daily Journal. 7! A long narration of the Dawson family only lists the wife of Aaron as Mary Parrish.
Either Mary would fit in the census of Barrett Parish in 1820.
However, my DNA matches appear to be those of the Mary who married Milton Johnson and there is no other possible relationship except this one through Sarah Dickerson.
