Edward was over 14 in Dec 1852 when he chose Joseph J. Weaver to be his guardian. He was still not of age in Jan of 1854 when the heirs petitioned for partition of the estate. He is not listed in receipts of heirs in the Final Settlement 27 Mar 1855, but an Edward L. was found in the 1880 census so possibly he was just overlooked.
