I believe the following Frances, to have been the child of Pitch Prater and a second wife Liza Parker. Quite possibly by the time she was born, his first daughter of that name had died. Perhaps she even died at the same as her mother.

This may or may not be Frances - the age, place of birth and name of mother all seem to be wrong, but perhaps based on the best information.
A Frances Prater Shipper died in Palestine, Anderson Co, TX on 11 Jan 1962. She was a widow. The date of birth given as 28 Jul 1886; age 75 at her last birthday. The informant was Marion Shipper, her son. She was said to have been born in Cherokee Co, TX - her father was L. P. "Pitch" Prater; her mother Liza Parker. She was buried Muse Cemetery, near Grapeland, TX.
