Casper and Jane had nine children. Soon after her death, he remarried to Jane Adderton. He had married nearly two years, when he decided to visit his holdings on the other side of the Yadkin. He and his Negro servant were drowned. another of his brothers, George, was successful in finding the body and Casper was laid to rest beside his wife.
Buried Jersey Baptist Church. Drowned.
