On Sept. 20, 1748, John & wife Joanna sold this land & moved to Lunenburg Co, VA. The Quaker record of South River Monthly Meeting of Halifax Co, VA, shows that Henry Jr, Joanna, John Sr. & John Kirby Jr. joined this meeting from a Halifax Quaker meeting.
John and Joanna were affliated with the South River MM until 16 May 1767, when they joined the Baptist Church.
