Herein on the 15th day of August 1819 WILLIAM MAXWELL Senior Of the County of
Logan and State of Kentucky exicuted the last will and testament whereby his
sons WILLIAM MAXWELL JUNIOR and AUDLEY MAXWELL the following lands towit
district or tracts of land to be said gifts agreeable to quality and quantity
on which he lived at the time of exicuting said last will and testament in two
SURVEYS. The said WILLIAM MAXWELL Junior to have one third of said tract of
lands of field and the said AUDLEY MAXWELL to have the remaining two thirds of
the same tracts or fields of land as by referunce to said last will and
testament will _?_ fully at large _?_ and whereas said WILLIAM MAXWELL Senior
has since the exicution of said last will and testament departed this life not
having revoked this _?_ and the same having been duly proven in the county
court for said Logan County and whereas the said AUDLEY MAXWELL has deceased
the said probate of said last will and testament also depart this life
intestate _?_. Now this indenture _?_ that the said WILLIAM MAXWELL Junior
of the County of Crawford and Territory of Arkansas for the concideration of
the sum of two hundred twenty dollars to him in hand paid by THOMAS MAXWELL of
said Logan County and State of Kentucky hath this day granted, bargained,
sold, confirmed and _?_ _?_ _?_ these presents doth grant, bargain, sell and
confirm that over all the right title, claim and interest which he now has as
may hereafter have in the said tract or tracts of land as and of his own right
and he also by those presents hath granted, bargained, sold, transfered and
set _?_ and doth grant,bargain, sell, transfer and _?_ over all the _?_ title,
claim and interest which he now has or hereafter may have in or to said AUDLEY
MAXWELL, deceased, part of said tract or tracts of land by virtue of his being
a brother and distributor of the estate of said AUDLEY MAXWELL, deceased, to
have and to hold said above discribed one third of said land or lands and said
right title claim and interest in and to said THOMAS MAXWELL, his heirs
executors and administrators forever unto his and their only use and benefit.

In testamony whereof the said WILLIAM MAXWELL hath rivie? unto set his hand
and seal the 14th day of January 1825.

Personally appeared before m e JOHN P. SUMNER, Depy. Clerk of the Crawford
Court in and for the County of Crawford, WILLIAM MAXWELL acknowledges the
within instrument of writing or deed of conveyance from him the said WILLIAM
MAXWELL and saith _?_ to me was done in good faith.

The testimony whereof I have set my hand and affixed the seal of office this
14th day of January 1825.

I Spencer Curd Clerk of said County Court do hereby _?_ certify that the
following deed of conveyance from WILLIAM MAXWELL _?_ THOMAS MAXWELL was this
day exhibited to me in my office and proven by the _?_ of JOHN BUCHANAN and
JAMES MAXWELL two subscribing witnesses thereto to be the act and deed of said
MAXWELL in testimony of which and that the same together with the certificate
thereto annexed and this certificate stands truly recorded in my office I
hereunto set my hand this 7th day of March 1825.

Additional Comments:
WILLIAM MAXWELL Junior married ANN REA BILLINGSLEY about 1817 in the Arkansas
Territory and settled in Washington County, Arkansas about 1835. He died
there in 1855.
