Individual Details

Owen L. Williams

(6 Sep 1810 - 23 Nov 1864)

Owen & Rebecca lived in Hamilton County for the 1850 Census. His parents said to be John Williams and Rachel Hodson [Genforum - Williams Family] which seems to be highly unlikely. Quaker records of John Williams' family show no sign of any son named Owen.

From notes on FamilySearch for Owen Williams KN18-5BG stating he was NOT the son of John Williams L5FX-1B5.
His birth is only 7 months before John's daughter Dinah.
John Williams and family have no suggestion o evef being in Ohio. Their Quaker membership was transferred from North Carolina to Indian.
When John Williams transferred his Quaker membership to Paoli, IN in 1816, his sons were state as Isaac and Robert. owen would have been about five at the time.
