Carra Wishard
Honey Grove - Carra Margaret Wishard, 88, of Dial died at 3:45 am Sunday, May 13, in Grove Manor Nursing Home.
Services were scheduled for 3 pm Monday, May 14, in the Dial Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Potter and the Rev. Michael Hamilton officiating. Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home was to make burial in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Wishard was born in the Rock Point community, Aug. 18, 1901, a daughter of John J. and Mary Copeland Shelton. She married Frank C. Wishard, Oct. 22, 1919. He died June 24, 1972. She was a member of the Dial Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Johnny (Pauline) Avery of Honey Grove; one son, Gerald Wishard of Dial; one sister, Grace Shelton of Honey Grove; three grandchildren, Mrs. Steve (Mary Alice) Glover of Paris, Kenneth & James Wishard, both of Honey Grove; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son.
