William married Eliza in Rockingham Co NC late in life. No children from this marriage. Wiley Boman was bondsman; bond dated 21 Mar 1838.

She drew his Revolutionary pension after his death under the Act of Congress, 3 Feb 1853. File #W-2437. Her application was made 11 Aug 1853 from Rockingham Co NC. She was at that time age 53 and gave her name as Elizabeth M. Rice. She married William H. Rice on 27 March 1838. He died 30 Aug 1847. Because of bodily infirmity, she did not appear in Court but made depostion to a Justice of the Peace.
Elizabeth also made declaration for Bounty Land on 4 Apr 1855. She gives her marriage date as 15 Apr 1838 and states that before her marriage she was Elizabeth M. Bowman. Wiley Bowman signed the marriage bond She gave the same date of death for William H. Rice as she did in 1853. Ryal Bowman and Susan Bowman, residents of Rockingham Co NC testified to her identity. Elizabeth received 160 acres, Warrant #12832. She died 6 Dec 1857.
