p. 394 - 24 Nov 1752: Elijah Morton w/ Stephen I.K. Smith referenced as owners of Ordinary in (their) part of the county in refusal of license for Ordianary to George Smith. ... Same day revewal for Stephen rejected and new license issued for Elijah and George Smith.

p. 440 - 24 May 1753: Elijah Morton & George Smith suffered the Sabbath to be broken, on information of David Cove; they were ordered to appear at the next court and give infomation of the same.

p. 466 - 28 Jun 1753: Elijah Morton and George Smith Ordinary Keepers failed to appear and it is ordered they be fined 350 lbs. of tobacco unless they show cause.
