Thomas Martin Clark

Campbell Co VA Deed Book 1784-1790, p.312. On 26 Sep 1788 Thomas Clark bought 330 acres on both sides of the south fork of Seneca Creek from Charles and Jane "Jenny" Gilbert. [Jane Haden, dau of Anthony & Drusilla Rountree, married Charles Gilbert.]
The Clark family moved to Breckinridge Co KY in 1809. [Linda Sparks Starr]
12 Oct 1811, William and his mother came to court to claim administration of Thomas Clark's estate. In 1817, William's brother-in-law and sister, Calvin and Mildren Hendrick brought a suit to seek final settlement. William was appointed guardian of his siblings who were not yet 21 years old.
