Arthur F. Allen Dies at Denver, Colorado
Arthur F. Allen of Denver, Colorado, and a former resident of Lamar County, TX, died at his home there Thursday morning at 8 o'clock, a message received by C. O. Allen, a brother in Idabel, indicated. Funeral services and burial were held in Denver.
Surviving Mr. Allen are his wife, a son Nat Allen of Denver; his aged father, Nat Allen of Cove, Arkansas; two brothers, C. O. Allen, Idabel, and O. N. Allen, chattanooga, Tenn.; and three sisters, Mrs. Letha Womack, Medill, TX; Mrs. W. B. Barton, Fort Smith, Ark.; and Mrs. B. P. Lichlyter, Vandervoort, Arkansas.
Mr. Allen had been a resident of Denver for the past 24 years, having moved there from New Orleans. He was born and reared in Cove, Arkansas.
