p.137 George Washington Higginbotham of the 90th Regt, 3rd Brig., 2nd Division, Amherst Co Militia, was called into active service 12 Jan 1814, stationed at Lambert's Point. He was b. Dec. 20, 1783 and d. April 30, 1862, buried Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Amherst Co VA.
Johannah, George's second wife, was his first cousin once removed, a descendant of Aaron Higginbotham.
