Aaron Higginbotham
(Abt 1778 - )
Moved to Georgia as a boy. Lived in Bledsoe and Warren Counties, TN where he owned land prior to 1810. He discovered Cumberland Cave, 2nd largest in America, in 1810. It is said he ventured into the cave alone and was trapped for 3 days when his torch went out. He was found safe, but his hair had turned white.
