Ed C. Rooney, 66, 1122 Waldron Rd., died unexpectedly Tuesday. He was a Missouri-Pacific yardmaster.
Mr. Rooney was a member of First Methodist Church, past master of Belle Point Lodge No. 20, past monarch of Amrita Grotto, and belonged to the Brotherhood of Railroad Yardmasters.
Survivors include his wife, Marguerite, two daughters, Mrs. Jack Rose of Fort Smith, and Mrs. Bud Corbin of Greenwood, Ark.; a brother, Frank X. of St. Louis, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Triefenbach of St. Louis, and five grandchildren.
The body is at Edwards Funeral Home. Funeral plans are incomplete.
