Manerva Schell

In an abstract of the the McDonald Co MO 1870 Census by Janice Soutee Looney: Fox Township 48: Elisabeth Schell, age 51, born MO, with six children from age 22-10 and Minerva, age 32, born MO, and Mary Comstock, age 9. Minerva's name not listed as Comstock in the abstract. This is likely Manerva living back home with her mother. I believe the child's name was actually Nancy, rather than Mary. Film of the census bears out all of the above, including the child listed as Mary, although in all later records she appears as Nancy.
John Fry married Manervia Compstock, 14 Jun 1875, Barry Co, Missouri.

I possibly found Manerva & John Fry in 1880, living in Benton Co AR. If so, Manerva had dropped about 10 years off her age.

George Fry, age 15, son, b. Illinois as were both parents.
Hila Fry, age 13, daughter, b. Illinois as were both parents
Charles Fry, age 7, son, b. MO, father b.. IL, mother b. MO [George & Hila & Charles apparently had a different mother]
By 1900, Minerva Frye was living with her son-in-law and daughter back in McDonald Co, and near some of her brothers. She was still with them in 1910. Not found in the 1920 census.
