Her age is 18 in 1860 Census, changing her year of birth to 1842 - I think that's incorrect.

She is said to have married a Hudson - perhaps a brother to Mary Ellen Hudson who married Nancy's oldest brother Green B. Gabbard.

None of the following quite adds up....but it must be Nancy Gabbard:\

Some say she married Uriah Hudson - he is in the 1870 census, Madison Co KY, age 33, with 1 year old Sarah. No spouse - maybe she was simply left off.

Actually there appear to have two men named Uriah Hudson
1880, Madison Co KY, Hh 94 Uriah Hudson, 42. Nancy, wife 37 (b. 1843)
Sarah, 9. Elisabeth, 5, Florence, 7, James 3, Daniel, age 1 (must have been Daniel Uriah - see 1900)
In 1880, Madison Co, on the same page is Uriah is age 56. Wife, Ann, 46 (born 1834 and too old to be Nancy)
Daniel, 18. Jane 15. Robert 11.

In 1900, Madison Co is a Nancy Hudson, widowed, b. Jan 1843, age 57, 6 children, 4 are living
With her is Letha Carpenter, dau, b. May 1875, age 25, no children (Elizabeth in 1880)
William Carpenter, son-in-law, b. Jun 1870, 29
Uriah Hudson, son-in-law (prob a son instead), b. Feb 1879, age 21
