"I descend from Mark Hardin's son Henry, his son Martin, and his daughter Clara Hardin who married John Carman LaRue in 1811 Maury Co TN. Clara Hardin was my 6th great-grandmother. Her daughter Phoebe Ann LaRue, b. 1813 in Marshall Co. TN married Wiley J O'Neal, b. 1810 Bedford Co., TN. They were married 1834 in TN. Their son John L O'Neal was my 4th great-grandfather. He was born 1834 in Bedford Co TN and he married Nancy Malinda Johnson, b. 1839 in Davidson Co TN. They were married 1856 in Newton Co., MO. Their daughter, Phebe Eunice O'Neal was born 1878 in Sebastian Co., AR. Phebe O'Neal married Preston Smith, b. 1866 Johnson Co., AR. They were my 3rd great-grandparents."
