Frances Oathwaite Comstock

The 1861 Petition of Daniel D. Comstock to administer the estate of his brother Horace named Fannie Humphrey of Kalamazoo. She was still a minor at the time. She had been adopted by Bissel Humphrey and was in his household in 1850. The Comstock book erroneously states that Fannie was married to a Humphrey, but the guardianship proceedings are recorded in Kalamazoo County.
Fannie married William M. Giddings on 18 Feb 1863. Living in Topeka, KA in 1880.
