Louis Clouse McLendon, The McLendons of Carroll County, Georgia, and Related Families, has a death date of 15 Mar 1831 for Henry Hyde, but I believe this to be a misinterpretation of the following record:

Early Records of Georgia: Wilkes Co
15 Mar 1831. Wylie B. Jones gave authority to any office to secure from the estate of Henry B. Hyde a debt with interest from Feb 7, 1827, which was adjudged against his wife, at that time Cynthia McClendon, in favor of Lane & Sims.

The record was interpreted to mean that Henry B. Hyde was deceased - but it does not say that. They are attempting to collect his wife's old debt from before they married from what Henry B. Hyde currently owns.
