I have not found the family in 1870. They should have still been in Georgia based on birth places of their children, but perhaps they were moving that year, as daughter Mary was born in Arkansas in 1871.
There was a J. M. Spear in Crawford Co AR in 1870, but he was born in KY and had no children.
