Parents said to be David Crawford, Jr. and Elizabeth Smith. [ David Crawford, Jr. was a brother to the Sarah Crawford that married Thomas Poindexter. His wife was Elizabeth Smith, but I can find no other record to show this relationship. David Jr left a will in 1762, and it did not mention Sarah or James Harris or any heirs of such a union. David Jr did recognize a grandchild in the will, but her surname was Barnett.]
