14 May 1850 Petition by Andrew J. McLean as guardian of Permelia J. McLean, to seel land descended to Elizabeth C. McLean from her father, Reuben Ewing. Andrew J. is the widower, George Reuben McLean, dec'd son, Permelia J. is his daughter. Reuben Ewing died intestate.
Andrew may have married a second time after the death of Elizabeth in 1843. In the McLean-Collins Cemetery in Logan Co is the marker of T. J. D. McLean, age 15 months when he died 3 May 1851, son of A. J. McLean. And a marker for Mary Ann McLean, age 32 years, consort of A. J. McLean who died 21 Aug, year not given.
