Frederick Felts

A Frederick Felts applied for and received a pension for service in the Revolution, File Number S8464. I believe it was the same as this man. He presented a certificate of Baptism which stated his date of birth as 20 Jul 1762. He entered service from Sussex Co VA and still lived there when he applied for his pension in 1832. A 1930 letter in the file was addressed to Rhoda Whitehorn. There was also in the file, a letter from a son of Frederick, named as John W. F. Felts of Bolivar, TN, dated 1854. John was inquiring about bounty land his father had not received in his lifetime.
