First noted in records of Warwick in 1648; was in Providence by 1651.
Vol. 2, p. 60 of the Early Town Records of Providence show that he was received a Townsman on the 27th of August 1651.
Council 17 Aug 1706. John Inman exhibited inventory of his deceased father Edward Inman who died intestate. 26 Aug 1706. Barbara Inman and Edward Inman, son both declined Administration. Jonathan Sprague ordered to Administer.
