Also living with the family are two boarders. Horace Jones, age 22, b. TX, a salesman in the dry goods store. Thurman A. Blakeney [Albert's 1st cousin from Bonham, TX] age 21, b. TX, a bookkeeper at a bank.

There is a Horace Jones, b. 1886, d. 1916, buried Highland Cemetery in Durant, Bryan Co, where several other members of the family lived. His Texas death certificate confirms this is the correct Horace.

Horace P. Jones died at the Homan Sanatorium, El Paso, Texas on 20 Apr 1916. He was Single about age 30. He worked as a clerk, Dry Goods, and had been born in Texas. He died of pulmonary hemorrhage - he had tuberculosis. He had been at the sanitorium for 10 months; his former residence was Durant, Oklahoma. His father listed as Walter Jones, born North Carolina, mother Virgie Haden, birthplace unknown. Miss Alice Jones, 920 S. Jennings, Ft. Worth, TX, was the informant. The body was removed to Durant.
