Jackson, TN - Funeral services for Frances Dawson Hays, age 92, will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, Febrary 9, 2009, at Lambuth Memorial United Methodist Church with Dr. John Bondson, church pastor officiating.
Frances passed away on Friday, February 6, 2009, at Regional Hospital of Jackson following a brief illness.
She was born January 8, 1917, in Marked Tree, Arkansas, the daughter of the late C. A. and Virgie W. Dawson.

In 1959 Hadley and Frances moved to Jacksonand purchased the Liberty Supermarket grocery store on Royal Street. Over the next 35 years, the operated Liberty Supermarket and Hays Foods grocery stores in Jackson, Trenton, Humboldt and Dyersburg.
...Hadley Hays, Sr., passed away in 1998. Frances is survived by a sister, Cynthia Williams (Bob); sons Hadley Hays, Jr. (Susan B.) and William D. Hays; grandchildren David Hays (Tiffany), Michael Hays (Kristi), James Hays, John Hays, Allison Fowler (Andrew), Stephanie Frye and Suzanne Frye; great-grandchildren Josiah Hays, Emma Claire Hays, Sophia Hays, Jackson Hays, Hudson Hays and George M. Fowler; and numerous nephews and nieces.
