(Abt 1802 - Bef 1850)
Moved to north central Missouri in 1829. John and Mahala's children William, John, Newton, Jasper, Angeline, Emeline, and Missouri were all born in Missouri. They traveled the Oregon Trail in 1844, later moving to California. The widow and children were on the 1850 census in Sutter Co; and 1860 census in Tulare Co.
