Services for Robert Scott Smith, 29, of Lubbock, son, brother & grandson of several area residents, will be a 11 am Tuesday in Sanders Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.
Graveside services will be t 4 pm in City of Hobbs Cemetery in Hobbs, NM...
Smith died late Saturday in a fire at his home south of Lubbock.
He was the son of Mr & Mrs. Vernon Smith of Hobbs, brother of Howard Smith and Patricia Smith, both of Odess, and grandson of Mrs. Hallie Dent of Hobbs.
Smith was born June 30, 1949, and was formerly of Hobbs. He had lived in Lubbock for the past eight years and was a printer.
On Dec. 31, 1971, Smith married Judy Montgomery in Lubbock. He was a member of the Silent Lub and Lions for the Deaf.
Survivors also include his wife, one son, another sister, and his grandmother.
