Herman J. Jones, age 91, of Glenmary, Tenn., died May 28, 1995, in the Scott County Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nettie Ann Jeffers Jones, two daughters: Mable Christine Warren and Nola Jane Vihlen, three infant children and two daughters-in-law. He was a retired Southern Railroad employee and a charter member of Glenmary Baptist Church. He is survived by sons: Tom of Deer Lodge; Frank of Elgin; Herman, Jr. of Oneida; Donnie of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Ronald of Glenmary; Carl Jones and wife, Myrtle of Deer Lodge; Earl Jones and wife, Joan of Newport News, Va.; Allen Jones and wife, Wanda; Fred Jones and wife, Lydia of Florida; daughters: Shirley and husband, Clyde Parton of Huntsville; Clara and Lesley Byrge of Newport News, Va., and Sue Woody of Indianapolis; 41 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grand children, and two sons-in-law: Clint Warren and Richard Vihlen, both of Homestead, Fla. Funeral services were conducted May 31, 1995, at the Glenmary Baptist Church with Rev. Dale Smith officiating. Interment followed in the Cross Road Cemetery.
