Passed away Thurs. Feb. 5, 2009. Born June 18, 1932, Doug was a 52-year resident of Carmichael, Cameron Park, and Gold River. Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Doug's lifelong passions included: golfing, almond farming, hunting, traveling with his beloved wife Marie, and playing pinochle, cribbage and bridge. He was a member of the Carmichael Elks Lodge, Rotary Club and Cameron Park Country Club. Doug granduated from the University of Oregon and owned Associated Underwriters Insurance of Sacramento. e was preceded in death by: parents Adeline and Carl Johnson, sister Arlene Allured, and brother Kleve Johnson. He is survived by: wife Marie Johnson; daughter Kris Johnson Zak; grandsons Matthew Johnson Zak (Amber) and Ryan Zak; and great grandchildren Matthew, Kyle and Tyler.
